Noise Remover privacy policy

This policy covers Offline AI Video Noise Remover on Google Play, shown on your phone as Noise Remover.

No account, no uploads.

Noise Remover cleans the sound of videos and audio files entirely on your device. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send your files or anything else to Areeb Labs or anyone else. The app has no advertising, advertising identifiers, analytics services or crash-reporting services. You do not need an account.

Your files.

You choose each file through Android's photo picker or file picker, or open it in Noise Remover from another app, so the app can read only the files you give it and never the rest of your media. It reads a file only to clean its sound. Your original file is never changed: when you save, the app writes a new file to Movies/Noise Remover or Music/Noise Remover on your device.

Local storage.

To reopen a file quickly, the app keeps temporary cleaned audio in its private cache. In its private storage it also keeps the name and location of the last file you opened, so it can offer to continue where you left off; your settings, such as Boost voice; how many free saves you have used today; whether you have Pro, so Pro works offline; and a small audio-timing measurement for your phone's encoder. None of this leaves your device.

Google Play purchases.

Google Play processes the optional one-time Pro purchase under Google's terms and privacy policy. To check whether you have Pro, the app asks the Google Play Store app on your phone, which communicates with Google; the answer stays on your device. Areeb Labs does not receive your payment details through the app. Google controls its store records and their retention.

Permissions.

Notifications show progress, with a Stop action, while a file is cleaned or saved. A foreground service and a wake lock let cleaning and saving you started continue while you switch apps or turn off the screen. On Android 8 and 9, storage permission lets the app save the cleaned file to your gallery. The billing permission supports the Pro purchase through Google Play. The app does not request internet, location, contacts, microphone or camera access.

Sharing.

When you tap Share, Android's share sheet sends the saved file to the app you choose. That app's own privacy policy then applies.

Retention and deletion.

Cached audio is deleted automatically after a week, when your device runs low on storage, or when you tap Clear cached audio on the app's About screen. Saved files stay in your gallery until you delete them. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes its private files and settings. It does not cancel a purchased Pro unlock, which can be restored through Google Play with the purchasing account.

Support and contact.

Email hello@areeblabs.com. If you contact us, Areeb Labs receives your email address and whatever information or attachments you voluntarily send through email services. This is separate from automatic app data collection.

Minors.

Noise Remover is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. Areeb Labs does not receive personal information from anyone through the app, so none is received from minors either.

Changes.

Policy updates will appear here with a new effective date.
