Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Areeb Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit areeblabs.com, contact us, or use an Areeb Labs product that links to this policy.

Information we collect

We may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and the contents of a support message. Our hosting providers may also process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and request logs for security and reliable operation.

MatFit

MatFit works entirely on your device. It has no account system, no analytics, and makes no network requests of its own. Projects, measurements, and private artwork copies are stored locally and leave your device only when you explicitly export, print, or share them. The optional Workshop Pack purchase is processed by Apple; we receive no personal information from the transaction. If you email support, that message is handled as described above.

DataViz

DataViz works entirely in your browser inside the Canva editor. It has no account system, no analytics, and makes no network requests of its own. Data you upload, paste, or load from the built-in samples is processed in your browser to draw a chart and is never sent to us. When you add a chart to a design, its data and style settings are stored in that element within your design so the chart remains editable later; that information lives in your Canva design under Canva's control, and Canva's own privacy policy governs the Canva platform and your Canva account. DataViz is free and contains no advertising or tracking. If you email support, that message is handled as described above.

Curlew

Curlew is an API client for Android that works entirely on your device. It has no account system, no analytics, and makes no network requests of its own — the only traffic it produces is the HTTP requests and WebSocket connections you explicitly compose and send, to endpoints you choose, carrying a User-Agent that identifies the app version and nothing else; a request sent from two different phones looks identical to the receiving server. Saved requests, collections, environments, secrets, and history are stored on your device in an encrypted database whose key is protected by your device's hardware-backed keystore and never leaves it; history stores no response bodies, and cached responses stay in the app's local cache. Data leaves your device only when you act: sending a request you built, exporting a response or command, or creating the optional backup — a file written where you choose, encrypted with a passphrase only you know and that we cannot recover. Curlew requests only the Internet and network-state permissions; files you attach or import are accessed one at a time through the Android document picker, and plain http:// requests are blocked until you allow them per request. The optional Curlew Pro purchase is processed by Google Play; we receive no personal information from the transaction. Uninstalling the app, or choosing Settings → Clear all local data, deletes everything it stored. If you email support, that message is handled as described above.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve our website and products, respond to questions, protect against misuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate about a request or service you use.

Sharing and service providers

We may share limited information with providers that host, secure, analyze, or support our services, under obligations appropriate to their role. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided to us, subject to applicable law. You may revoke a marketplace connection through the relevant platform or product settings when that capability is available.

Children

Our website and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as our products evolve. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material product-specific practices will be disclosed before they apply.
